Every person has a story worth learning from. The Matthew Byrd Podcast is built around that belief.

These are curious conversations with leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and everyday extraordinary people across industries and walks of life. Each episode unpacks the career journeys, turning points, hard-won lessons, and mindsets behind the people who've chosen to build, grow, and keep moving forward. No single industry. No single path. Just real stories from real people. If you believe the best education comes from other people's experiences, you're in the right place.

Matthew is the Founder & CEO of Reality Capture Network, with it’s HQ in Meridian Idaho, which is also home to the RCN Studio where The Matthew Byrd Podcast is produced.

Reality Capture Network exists to amplify the innovators and doers shaping the built environment. Our purpose is to highlight their stories, connect their ideas, and empower professionals to confidently embrace emerging technologies, take risks, and lead positive change. We want to help people become known for their work, trusted for their perspective, and connected to others who are building with intention. It is a place where innovation meets practicality, and where long-term progress matters more than short-term noise. We envision a future where every person in this industry feels inspired, equipped, and supported to innovate, grow their career or business, and help build a better, more connected, and more forward thinking world.

We believe the future is built by people who dare to try something new. The doers. The thinkers. The risk takers. The ones who see a better way and step toward it even when it feels uncertain. Innovation does not start with technology. It starts with people. People willing to learn, experiment, and lead. People who choose growth over comfort. People who push through fear to build what comes next.

At Reality Capture Network, we amplify those people. We tell their stories because storytelling inspires courage. We showcase emerging technologies because knowledge sparks possibility. We create spaces where professionals connect because community fuels progress.

CONSULTING / ADVISORY

Matthew Byrd is on a mission to positively impact others through the insights and experience he's gained along his journey.

He works directly with founders, executives, and teams navigating growth, innovation, and change, particularly across the built environment and emerging technology space. His approach isn't theoretical. It's built on real-world experience building companies, scaling teams, and working alongside hundreds of organizations in the field.

This isn't a one-size-fits-all engagement. Every collaboration is tailored, often working closely with leadership as a fractional strategic partner to pressure-test ideas, make better decisions faster, and move from planning into execution.

If you're looking for practical insight, honest feedback, and a partner who understands both the technical landscape and the human side of building something meaningful, submit an inquiry to schedule an introduction call.

Have a question? Interested in collaborating at one of our events or across our media channels? Thinking about working together?

I’m always open to a conversation. Whether it’s around consulting, advisory, mentorship, reality capture, emerging technology, podcasting, branding, content strategy, or simply making an introduction and connecting, I’d be glad to hear from you.

My goal has always been to stay accessible to the community and find meaningful ways to support, connect, and collaborate as we work toward making a positive impact on the industry.
